Firefighters tackle blaze at The Buck pub in Lichfield

The Buck pub on Greenhill in Lichfield was cordoned off by firefighters after a blaze in the upstairs section of the building.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue confirmed that they were called to the flat above the pub at 11.17am this morning after the blaze had been started accidentally.

No-one was injured in the fire which was tackled by two crews from Lichfield fire station and one from Tamworth.

    coming back from LTV station yesterday, Buster’s Daddy’s electric scooter thingy was parked on the pavement somewhere on the Birmingham Road, with Buster sitting patiently beside it. Daddy appeared to be ‘asleep’. Awww. I hope he got home safe.
