Burntwood youths treated to a host of summer activities
Ten to nineteen year-olds in Burntwood are set to benefit from a range of activities organised by Positive Futures, throughout the summer.
Positive Futures is a community project managed by Lichfield District Council and Staffordshire County Council which aims to deliver sport and leisure activities in Burntwood.
This summer they are delivering a series of events and activities from boxing and trampolining to street cheer and DJ taster sessions.
Jenni Goode, Youth Sports Development Officer for Lichfield District Council, said: “We hope our programme of events will appeal to local 10 to 19 year-olds. The sessions are a great way to meet new friends, learn a new skill and have a laugh.”
The full programme of events can be seen by visiting the Positive Futures web site, phoning 01543 308 835 or e-mailing jenni.goode@lichfielddc.gov.uk.
